The Image Manager proxy is a tool to demo Image Manager’s capabilities on any website, in realtime. In combination with the PIEZ reporting tool you can showcase the byte savings that a default implementation of Image Manager can achieve.

Seeing is Believing

1. Add Piez Extension to Chrome browser
  • Piez displays optimizations made by Akamai Image Manager, Resource Optimizer, Push/Preconnect, and Script Manager.
      Piez is a developer tool that allows a web developer to see total bytes savings on pages that have been optimized using Akamai Image Manager.
    2. Go to Chrome Web Store and add Piez to Chrome browser
    3. Click inspect of Akmai Partner Portal browser and click piez tab
